This set appears in some Aurimat catalogues. Although there are no box images, there is an image of the instructions sheet. It is a version of the 1978 German 3550 Piratenschiff (V.2). In 1989 its number becomes 23550 (yet to confirm). Its instructions also appear in the 13333 Mattel Barco Pirata.
