« I tried to think of the most harmless thing. Something I loved from my childhood. Something that could never ever possibly destroy us. Mr. Stay Puft! » says Raymond Stantz when choosing the shape of Gozer the destroyer.
And here we go with a Ray action figure, equipped with proton pack, and one of the most iconic characters from the movies, the marshmallow man.
Ray is Ray, yes, him again. If you bought the Ghostbusters full set you will end up with plenty of clones, an army of ghostbusters. Actually, this is different: he has white stains on the jumpsuit, melted marshmallow, we can guess.
And then there is the big one. Not that big, actually. The real Mr. Stay Puft was something like 40 meters (100 feet) tall, while the one packed here with Mr. Stantz is not even 5 meters, two figures and a half tall. Nothing about being gigantic or towering over the buildings, unfortunately, which is somehow disappointing. I understand a real size man would have been impossible, but for 21€ you may hope for more. He also has paralyzed limbs (you can rotate arms, but not in every direction like Slimer, and wrists. Head and legs cannot be moved). This is disappointing too. Nevertheless, a small notch in the hands allows him to grab objects, which is good.
I would say, then, that this set suffers from some limitations; the reason for buying it is the iconic character itself, not the toy.
