The box was bought at Coop (a Hypermarket chain similar to Carrefour, mentioned in the description), it is not for toy stores.

However, what my son immediately spotted is that it is a clone of the pirate that goes with corsair/pirate ship 5810. The colour of the bandanna and of the sabre are different, but the pirate is undoubtedly the same. He did not seem so disappointed for having a clone.
What makes this figure worth, is the cannon. It is very basic but it tilts, turns and fires. It is provided with two cannon balls that are much lighter than more complex cannons like those that come along with the ships (the ball is made of plastic, not covered with rubber). Therefore, despite the firing mechanism is absolutely basic (it uses the natural plastic elasticity, not a metal spring), shots are longer.
This makes it enjoyable and playable (kids love firing at things). Ammunitions are, of course, not compatible with the other cannons, so be careful not to break them.
